This small monument in Hillsborough, North Carolina, marks the spot where six Regulators were hanged on June 19, 1771, after their defeat at the Battle of Alamance. The monument, a white marble slab, can be found off of Cameron Street between the Board of Education Parking Lot and St. Matthews Church.
