Description: This marker consists of a small stone stele mounted upright upon another a small stone slab base. It is engraved with the wreath insignia of the sponsoring club, the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The inscription is dedicated to those from the Kernersville area who lost their lives in military service.

Landscape: The marker is located on a bricked sidewalk area in front of a lamp post. A garden bed with a flagpole sits several feet behind the marker.
